I love the Pultec HLF-3C for cleaning up the high and low end. It doesn’t add any color, so don’t expect some kind of analog-ifying. Not cool or sexy, but it does have great curves.
Hints:
- Record through this and eliminate a bunch of the low end mud while you track. I do it all the time on my Apollo.
