Not sure how this compares to the lunchbox hardware, which has a decent reputation for being quiet and getting the job done.
I picked this up for free I believe with an offer from pluginboutique.com. It was worth it!
OK, I’m being a bit facetious, farcical, flippant and… cheeky. But after listening and using this a bit, I am very interested in what else Audiority has to offer. The guy who runs it, Luca Capozzi, has a pretty good list of sound design credits and users. Not sure if he does the programming for the plugins, but this one is worth a listen/try.
Doing some “lesser-known” brands this week. From the Boz “signature series.” David Bendeth is a pretty good signature to have, I must say. He has been making hit (and quality) recordings for about 100 years, I think. I don’t know how much input he had on this, or if they simply used his Ward-Beck Systems M462B EQ to model it.
A freebie with somewhat of a cult following. Audio damage says this has a “uniquely warm sound.” I’m not sure what’s unique about a low pass filter and loads of aliased distortion, but maybe there is something I am missing.
